The 3 best ways to find interior design inspiration

Every designer and everyone who finds himself in a designing process needs to get inspiration, be it just to have a clear vision or just because he or she thinks the project would look better this way. I am lucky that I do not have any shortage of ideas that I want to use for my own future projects. However, sometimes even if you have an idea, you are struggling with how such a certain space should look like or how many elements should be used there. There are thousands of incredible and inspiring interior design projects you can find on the internet, which you can use for inspiration. I always try to find my inspiration from other designers who know what they are doing, because their work is not only visually appealing, but also functional. They have tried different styles and colors, so it’s easy to get inspired by them. Finding inspiration is one of the most important steps in the process of interior design, so today I want to share my three favorite ways where I am looking for inspiration first.

1.
Boutique hotels & Airbnb homes
Check out boutique hotels on Booking.com or "PLUS" and "LUXE" homes on Airbnb with extraordinary interior design. Those properties are designed to impress guests with their optic, and practical details, so there are definitely many ideas you can start with. No matter what kind of design style you prefer, I am sure there is a place, that meets your needs.

2.
Find and pin your ideas
One of the best ways to find interior design inspiration and ideas is by browsing Pinterest. It's a collaborative virtual pin board that allows you to easily share and browse other people's interests. Plus, it’s very easy to use — just type in a search term, and you'll get thousands of results in minutes. For example, if you're looking for ideas on how to decorate your home office, just type “office” into the search bar and see what comes up! Simply start pinning anything that catches your eye to your own account page, or better yet create an entire board dedicated specifically to that room or element of your home.
3.
Product pictures
Check product pictures on furniture web shops for inspiration! Once you have an idea of what you want your space to look like, the next step is to find products that help it come alive. That’s where product photos come in handy — they can be a huge source of inspiration.

Create your mood board and shopping list
Creating a mood board is a to-do you should not skip while designing your room. While working as an online interior designer, I couldn’t find the right tool to make beautiful boards, with linked items, looking like a shopping list. As a designer, I prefer to work with tools that are fun, time efficient, stylish, and user-friendly.

Besides that, MoodBoardly offers you
